Question:
HI Im looking at a 7 x 14 enclosed cargo trailer what is the difference in the v nose style and the flat front style? I think Ive decided on torsion suspension because sometimes I dont have a lot of weight in the trailer. The Car Mate CM714cc-HD and the V-Nose brand7x14TA Im pretty sure are the ones Ive narrowed my search to unless you have other suggestions.

The brands you gave are both quality trailers. The difference is in the components that you use with the trailer. The traditional box style trailer with the flat front is more compatible with accessories and if you are going to use weight distribution (like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control # RP66087) is the route to go as the V-nose style interferes with mounting locations. If you won't be using weight distribution then the V.nose can allow you more storage space.
You can still use sway control on a V-nose trailer, but you will need to use the electric sway control option like the Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller - Trailer Mountl # 3430001 that utilize electric brakes versus a mechanical sway control like the weight distribution system with integrated sway control which is more preventative.
