Question:
Is there a reason this wouldnt work on a 4xinch RV bumper? Id love to get my spare tire sitting up and in on the bumper rather than sticking out behind and below it. My 235/75R15 tire works out to radius 14.45. Ive got 1 3/4 inch clearance between the bumper and the rear wall of the trailer.

We have spare carriers like the part # UF15-954730 which were designed specifically to attach to a 4 inch RV bumper which would be my first pick for your application but since the # DM15851-76 was also designed to attach to a 4 inch by 4 inch metal channel there's no reason it wouldn't fit either.
The Ultra Fab would have better clearance to your RV wall like you mentioned since it attaches behind the bumper and not on top. I attached a review video for more info on this as well.
