Question:
Hello I have noticed that my 2005 ford f350 cab and chassis is different then the regular truck. I want to make sure that I get the correct kit to install a goose neck plate on it. Whick one should I use? Thank you

You are correct that the cab and chassis models of trucks have a narrower frame width at 34 inches instead of typically around 37 inches so the gooseneck fits are different.
The Curt Flat Plate Gooseneck # C65500 is a multi-fit application that can be used on a cab and chassis truck. Typically, the plate would be placed on top of the flat bed over the rear axle.
You will need to have a shop fabricate rails to be used to provide the under bed bracing in order to reach the maximum 30K lb GTW rating on the plate. Holes would be drilled through the plate, through the bed and into the frame members and the rail kit. At least six 1/2 inch grade 5 bolts need to be used to fasten the plate to the rail kit.
At this time there are no custom fit gooseneck hitches or rails that would fit your vehicle due to it being a cab and chassis.
