Question:

2018 Mazda CX 9 naked roof. Question: Are there fixed mounting points on my vehicle that will allow me to install the Rhino RVP? If so, how do I access them. Exactly what modifications do I need to make to the trim? And finally on a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult is the install?

The Rhino Rack RVP roof rack part # RRRVP51 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Mazda CX-9 and does attach to the fixed mounting points the vehicle has on the roof. I attached a picture that I took from the linked install instructions (see below) that show how the fixed mounting points are accessed. It's a very simple install. I'd give it a 1/10 in terms of difficulty.
