Replacement Hubs for Oddball Axle or Axle Replacement for Boat Trailer

Updated 06/30/2020 | Published 06/26/2020

Question:

I seem to have an oddball axle under my boat trailer. I found some bearings, but am unsure about the hubs. The bearings are on a tapered axle 3/4 to 1-1/4...bearing #s LM67048 and LM11949. Do you have or know of hubs that would match up to this? If it helps the trailer is a 1983 Shorelandr with vin 1yr114070dn000510

The Trailer Hub Assembly - 3,000 lbs Axles - 4 on 5 - Agricultural # AH15450ECOMP is the only fit we have for those bearings. It has an odd bolt pattern of 4 on 5 inch. This likely isn't what you are seeking for your boat trailer.

If you can give me some more information on your trailer I can help with a replacement. For a standard trailer axle, I need to know your spring seat to spring seat measurement, bolt pattern of your hubs, and measurement from hub face to hub face.

If your measurements are not standard, then you may need to replace your axle with the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System like # A12RS440 for example which will use a 2 inch square tube not included between the assemblies and has integrated suspension.
