hAVE A UNGER CAR TRAILER and a car that weighs 2700 lbs trailer weighs 1800 lbs what is a safe hitch to use

I'd recommend the Curt Class IV receiver hitch, part # 14301. The hitch has a 10,000 lb towing/1000 lb tongue weight capacity which might be more than you need for that particular trailer, but it'll have plenty of capacity to spare in case you should need to tow something heavier in the future.
