I'm not 100% sure what comes with the tow package on your 2010 Lexus RX 350 so I'll just recommend everything you'll need to tow so that if you don't already have it you'll be able to see what is recommended.
For a trailer hitch I recommend the Curt # C13143 because we have found that they tend to have a stronger construction, and then for wiring you need to start off with the T-One # 118252 for basic trailer lighting. Since you're needing a brake controller this means you'll need to upgrade the wiring on your RX 350 and which kit you use depends on what brake controller you'll be using.
I really like the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR because it can be installed virtually anywhere and the control is just a small knob and it uses color coding to let you know what is going on. To get this installed on your RX 350 you'll need the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7.
For more of a traditional/economic option I recommend the Primus IQ # TK90160 which would still require the ETBC7 kit.
To complete a towing setup you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
