Does Curt Hitch for 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid Allow Hands Free Lift Gate to Function

Question:

Hands Free Lift Gate still work once the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C23FR is installed on a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid? The OEM Ford hitch says that you have to relocate the kick sensor, but another Q-A on the product page for the compatible wiring package says that the kick sensor DOES work with the other available hitch for the hybrids Draw Tite hitch # DR47FR 409750 Im hoping the sensor will still work with the Curt hitch as well!

With the Curt hitch part # C23FR installed on your 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid you'd have limited access to the hands free liftgate function. You'd still be able to kick your foot to either side of the hitch tube but for the best result relocating the sensors is the best way.
