Question:

Hi I purchased AL57338 last year for my 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Im buying a new truck and Im wondering if its compatible? Or if the bags are compatible if I buy different mounting brackets? The truck Im buying is a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 HD with dual rear wheels. Let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks!

I checked and your current Air Lift helper springs are not a fit for the 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD, and the springs themselves are also different, so you would need an entirely new setup, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57341.

With that in mind, I do recommend taking this time to upgrade to the higher-quality air springs that fit your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 dually, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613.

The reason I recommend these over the Air Lift is because of the construction of the Firestone air bags; they are made with four layers of reinforced rubber, which is a thicker, more reliable construction than the two layers of the Air Lift.

If you are doing the install yourself, you are going to want to ensure your air lines are cut perfectly straight, and the best way to do this is by using the Air Hose Cutter # AL10530. Also, I do highly recommend adding a compressor, the Air Command Compressor System - Wireless - Smartphone Enabled # F2610.

This compressor is totally unique because it allows you to adjust the air pressure in the bags from the comfort of your truck's cab with just your smartphone. I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
