Question:
I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra CrewMax towing a 2021 No Boundaries 19.3 trailer GVW - 7550. I have a hitch that pulls the trailer fine rated 10,000 lbs, 3inch rise, but it is too close to the back of the truck to be able to the tailgate, which I need to do to get dogs in and out. It looks like this ball mount will extend the distance between the truck and trailer. So, my questions are: 1 Is there a good way to figure out whether this ball mount is long enough? 2 Can you install a 2 5/16inch ball on this mount for me, or do I have to do that myself? Thanks.

To determine if the # 4285 is long enough to allow you the tailgate clearance you need you'll need to take a couple measurements. First you'll need to determine how much additional length would be needed to allow the tailgate to clear. Next you'll need to measure the distance between the hitch pin hole of the ball mount and the ball hole center and you'll add that to the previous dimension you took and you'll know what length ball mount you'd need. The # 4285 is 12 inches between hole centers which you can then determine if that's enough.
For a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball we then have the part # 19286 but we do not have ability to mount it here for you.
