I am interested in the Saris hanging 3 bike rack for 2 adult size bikes and one 18 inch kids bike on my 2018 Subaru Forester. Would I need an adapter bar for the smaller bike?

When using the Saris Bones Hitch 3 Bike Rack to transport kids bikes I do recommend using an adapter bar. While it is possible to get some smaller frames on the Bones the bike is usually sitting at a very steep angle and is just something you really don't want to deal with.
I really like the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # 64005 it is very quick and easy to use when compared to the others.
