Question:
Do you know if I can use your threaded hitch pin in preplacement of the Thule one? eTrailer: e99047 vs Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device - THSTL2
asked by: Javier
Expert Reply:
The etrailer Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock # e99047 is an M16 bolt while the bolt that comes with the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock # THSTL2 is an M12, so even if the thread count was the same they wouldn't be compatible.
If you're just needing to replace the bolt for your Thule bike rack then you can use part # TH62RE, otherwise if you need the lock and washers then you'll need the kit # THSTL2 instead.
