Im looking for a adapter for my Ram 1500 to a flat 4 adapter on a trailer looks like the plug on the truck has6plug prongs in a circle what adapter do I need the web site is very confusing of what I need

The Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter, part # PK12716, is exactly what you need. If you have the standard connector for a Ram, there will be 6 flat pins that go around, in addition to the center pin, for a total of 7. I've attached a photo that shows the truck and trailer end connectors that will work with this adapter. Hopefully that clears things up.
