It sounds like you have a wishbone harness on your trailer, like # A35W42B. This type of connector will have a regular 4-Way but the running light circuit is spit into 2 wires at the back of the connector so you do not have to run a jumper wire to each side of the trailer.
The vehicle 4-Way is configured as follows: White = ground, Yellow = left turn/brake lights, Green = right turn and brake lights, and Brown = running lights.
On the trailer, white is ground, yellow is left turn/brake, green is right turn/brake. The green with brown is running lights for the right side. The yellow with brown is running lights for the left side.
