Vehicle: 2017 Ram 3500 have a 2017 ram cab and chassis with a cm flat bed with recessed gooseball. What do i need to put on a 5th wheel hitch atleast 18k?

The best option I have for you to tow a 5th wheel trailer using a flat-bed truck with recessed gooseneck hitch is with the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550046. The Demco Recon is designed for this exact purpose and it's lightweight so it will be easy to take on/off. In order for this to work, the distance from the floor of the bed to the top of the hitch ball cannot be more than 13/16". If so, you will need an adapter that attaches to the pin box like the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5G.
