Question:
What does flashing 06 code mean

I spoke with the folks at Curt regarding the '06' error code showing on your TriFlex. According to Curt, this typically happens when the controller's processor receives a quick voltage spike. This typically occurs when the vehicle battery is used to jump start another car or the battery is removed and then reinstalled. The spike affects the internal microprocessor in the controller, but if you unplug the controller for several seconds and then plug it back in, more often than not the microprocessor will boot back up and everything will work perfectly.
