Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles - 86-1/2inch Long - 6,000 lbs These axle tubes are designed to be Underslung. What if existing axle beam is not Underslung? All Customer pictures for this product show the axle not installed Underslung. Could you help me figure out how to replace my current axle beam? Thank you for your time. To mount the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles # 8327826 underneath your leaf springs you can simply use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00. This comes with a kind of adapter that allows you to do so.

All of the axles we carry that meet the specs of this axle mount on top of the leaf springs so the Over-Under kit is you only option aside from finding an axle shop and sending in a custom order.
