Question:
The 2014 Thor Four Winds motor home has a 7 pin connector on the rear of the unit. I have checked and the 7 pin has a 12 volt charge line that I use to charge a 2011 Jeeps battery when I tow it. I am sure that it also has the output for electric trailer brakes. Where in the cab is the cable/connector to connect to a brake controller?

The brake controller port on a 2014 Thor Four Winds Motorhome should be located under the dash, usually near the emergency brake pedal. That said, they are generally taped to other wires on the main harness so it just takes some digging. We have not yet had a 2014 Thor Four Winds Motorhome in our shop to get a better idea of the exact location but I would say the above is true for about 95% of applications.
If you don't already have a brake controller in mind, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 along with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3034-P which will make for a plug and play install.
If you still can't find the brake controller plug, let me know and I'll see if there is anything else I can do to help you find it. This should be equipped on all models so I am sure it's there.

Our people on motor home forms have said that the 2014 Ford E450 has the Ford plug for the brake controller behind the dash near the coin holder. NOT a mechanic so want to be sure before I start trying to move my 73 year old body in places I know I wont fit. Thanks for your help.
