Question:
I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier with a 4 pin trailer plug and relays installed. I would like to switch to a 7 pin trailer plug. My question is are the relays and harness installed in the cab of the truck the same for the 4 pin as for the 7 pin?

The relays installed into the vehicle’s 12 pin jumper plug located in vehicle cab on the passenger’s side,
behind the kick panel are the same with the 4-way connector for a 2018 Nissan Frontier part # C56225 as the 7-Way connector for a 2018 Nissan Frontier part # 118266.
If you already have the relays you can use Replacement Wiring Harness for Tekonsha Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118282 that simply plugs into the factory towing package and does not include the relays. I have attached an installation video of the installation for your reference. You can ignore the relay part since you already have them.
