Question:

I recently purchased a lighter trailer, with my original trailer I used the FA92-00-1000 system and would now like to downgrade the spring bars to the 800 TW spring bars. Is it possible to use the trunnion head from the 1000tw system I already have with FA92-02-0899?

I do have an option for you but you will need part # FA92-01-0899 instead of part # FA92-02-0899 to fit the weight distribution head. The Replacement Trunnion Spring Bars for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems part # FA92-01-0899 will work fine with the head of the Fastway e2 10,000 lbs Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control part # FA92-00-1000.

However if your loaded tongue weight is 800 lbs then the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control 10,000 lb system FA92-00-1000 bars will still work fine for you because the spring bars are rated for between 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs.

The lighter 8,000 lb system bars part # FA92-01-0899 are rated for a loaded tongue weight between 400 lbs - 800 lbs so if your loaded tongue weight is in that range you will need to use these lighter bars.
