Can Vehicle and Tow Dolly be Used in Reverse
Updated 03/03/2020 | Published 03/02/2020 >
Question:
If I purchase a tow dolly will I be able to back it up or will I have to unload and disconnect it. I plan to tow a 2017 Honda CRV front wheel drive and automatic transmission

Reversing with a tow dolly is a pretty dangerous idea. You will end up damaging the dolly and/or steering components of the vehicle so it's always best to only pull forward when connected to a dolly. If you need to reposition you'd have to disconnect to back up.
