Can You Replace the Monitor for the Furrion Vision Wireless Backup Camera FOS48TA-BL

Question:

I need to replace the monitor for my FOS48TA-BL. I have the camera but monitor did not survive a water bath. Where can I get a monitor, please?

I do have an option for you but the monitors that come with Furrion Vision Wireless RV Backup Camera Systems are not available separately for replacement as the manufacturer does not offer this. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but the Furrion Vision 2 Wireless RV Backup Camera System part FOS48TA-BL is actually an old model that has been discontinued and replaced by the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # FOS43TASF. Therefore, now would be a great time to upgrade your old system. The best part is you don't have to do any drilling or wire splicing for the swap as both systems use the same camera mounting bracket. The old camera and new monitor are however not compatible.

The Furrion Vision S has a motion detection sensor system, a higher screen resolution, and longer transmission distance of 492' when compared to the Furrion Vision 2 so it's a great upgrade.
