Question:

I need a hitch for my 2020 Subaru Forester but I don't really want to be able to see it as much. Is there a hidden option?

The only option for a concealed cross tube for the 2020 Subaru Forester is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7391. The only part of the hitch that is visible once installed is the receiver tube on the 2020 Subaru Forester. I have attached a photo and video for your reference.

If you need wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56040 which will plug into the connection point in the rear cargo area. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

If you plan on doing some towing you may consider the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If you are not sure how much rise/drop you may need in a ball mount to tow your trailer level, I recommend to take a look at the helpful article I have attached about how to figure the amount of rise or drop you may need.
