Good morning, I am considering purchasing a 2006 Toyota Tacoma excluding X-Runner Trailer Hitch on our 2006 Tacoma. However the instructional installation video demonstrates installation on a 2013 Tacoma. Is there an instructional video for a 2006 Tacoma or is the 2013 Tacoma installation procedure the same for a 2006 Tacoma? Please clarify. Thanks,

Good question; your 2006 Toyota Tacoma is the same generation and model as a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, so the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98850 will install the same way in both trucks. I added a link to that video, and also added a link to a video of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75236 being installed on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma for you to reference. These are essentially identical installations so you can also use that video as a reference. I have added a link to the written installation instructions for you as well.
