trailer jack comes with a 7 way plug can you take the plug off and wire it up to a battery without any problems

The Electric Jack w/ Footplate is offered both with the plug part # EJ-3527-BBX and without the plug part # EJ-3520-BBX. Therefore, if you wanted to go with the model that has the plug and just cut that off you would indeed just run the wire to the battery or you can go with the model that has the blunt cut wire which is more cost effective.
