The Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 Bike Platform Rack part # TH83JV and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76182 for the 2014 - 2018 Subaru Forester are compatible. When it comes to bike racks and hitches you really just want to make sure that the bike rack has the correct sized shank to fit into the hitch and the weight capacity of the hitch can handle the maximum weight of the bike rack. The Draw-Tite hitch can handle 525 lbs tongue weight. The bike rack weighs 52 lbs plus the additional 120 lbs of bikes (if you are using it to the max capacity) so you don't have to worry about exceeding the tongue weight of the hitch. The shank of the rack is 2" so it will fit the 2" hitch. You also want to make sure you are not exceeding the tongue weight rating of the vehicle itself. That can be found in the owner's manual of the Forester.
The only other part to take into consideration when purchasing a bike rack and hitch is the ground clearance and bumper clearance. When we installed the Draw-Tite hitch on a Subaru Forester the measurement from the hitch to the ground was 15-1/4" and the measurement from the hitch pin hole to the outside of the bumper was 2-1/2". The Thule bike rack is a fold up rack and the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of th rack when folded is 5". You won't have any issues with the rack touching the bumper when folded up or scraping the ground.
