Question:

I have a Dico 45263 Hub. I am getting ready to order new bearings from you for the hub as well as oil seals and races. This came off a Hawkeye trailer for a jet ski. Label says WC108 or WC112. My problem is one of the stubs if broken off the hub and I need a replacement stud. Do you know which stud will work for this hub. I called Hawkeye and they produced my trailer back in 1997 and said they had no idea on what the stud size I would need.

The best option we can offer you is the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K which will be a direct replacement for the Dico Trailer Hub Assembly part 45263 so long as you the Double Lip Grease Seals part # RG06-010. The Trailer Idler Hub Assembly would also allow you to switch from oil to grease which is much easier to deal with in regards to maintenance.

The only way to find the correct replacement lug stud for the Dico Trailer Hub Assembly would be to measure and then choose from the list below. That said, no one will be able to tell you the exact lug stud needed without first measuring as there is just simply not a record of this.
