How To Clear Rear Right Jack Error With Lippert Ground Control Leveling System
Updated 12/09/2019 | Published 12/08/2019 >
Question:
Have a Heartland Bighorn with the lci auto leveling jacks. When I went to retract the jacks the display showed a error with the right rear jack sensor and then the display locked up and was unable to do anything with it. What should I do to get the jacks up for travel. The display will not return to an operating condition? Stays locked up and cannot turn off or do anything. Do I have to get the drill out and manually retract the jacks. My unit is now 2 years old.

It does sound like you have a short in the wiring or blown fuse at the controller. It is a good idea to check the harness connections at the controller and jack for damage. To clear the error code you will need to home the jacks. I have attached the instructions on how to clear the error code.
If the jacks will not retract the minimum of 6" then the display should show another error code then the issue is definitely with the wiring. You want to also check the battery to make sure its not depleted.
