Question:

Will this work on my Keystone Alpine It has a Road Armor™ shock absorbing hitch pin and wasnt sure if this would work?

I do have a great solution for you, however the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 cannot be used with the Road Armor pin box on your trailer. This is simply because the cushioned design coupled with the adapter will create too much stress at the connection point. This is actually the case with any of the similarly designed adapters we have available.

Depending on what type of gooseneck hitch installed on your truck, you may be able to use a 5th wheel hitch adapter like the excellent Demco Recon # DM8550045, which will just attach to the gooseneck ball to provide you with a traditional 5th wheel hitch to connect with the trailer. As long as you don't have a high-rise gooseneck ball this will work great.

The Recon features a wraparound single-piece jaw for a really secure connection to the trailer and a smooth, quiet ride during travel. It has a 21,000 pound towing weight capacity.
