I have a 2020 Tacoma with no tow package. What do I need to hook up lights for trailer?

I recommend the Curt T-Conenctor Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56349 for the 2020 Toyota Tacoma which plugs in behind the tail lights so there is no need for a tow package on the vehicle. The black wire does need to be extended to the Tacoma's battery to power the converter. This will give you a 4-pole flat at the rear of your vehicle to power the trailer lights. The Tekonsha brand wiring has proven to be more reliable and durable than the other brands especially the converters. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

Please keep in mind that this wiring harness will only illuminate the trailer lights. Please let me know if your trailer has brakes and I can make additional recommendations.
