Anytime I need a hitch I start with etrailer first. The quality, packaging and delivery are always outstanding. Definitely a two person job, but it hooked up to the truck fairly easily.
Just like the install video showed. Did the whole thing myself no problems.
Great hitch, but allot more than 40 minutes for the install. I had to modify the tabs on my bumper mounts but cutting them with a angle grinder, and I had to remove the ball hotch on my bumper which was rusted on. That added extra time, but in the end, it was worth the extra effort.

Easy to install on 98 tacoma 5 lug. Just need to line it up well and bolt on. Fast shipping
Super fast shipping. Took about an 1.5 hours to install (no help) from start to finish. Used a floor jack and rubber mallet to line up the holes. Great fit!!
Installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. Well build construction. Very good purchase and would definitely recommend it to others. They even checked in a year after to make sure everything was still good.

Great receiver! Had some difficulty installing, but it was mostly the older hardware on the 2001 Tacoma pickup. My son and I got it installed in a couple of hours. The right side of the receiver was bent a little in shipping, but a sledge hammer got it lined up correctly

I just received my etrailer hitch today, I immediately started installing it, followed the simple to understand instructions and 20 minutes later job completed, it fit perfect, it’s a high quality hitch, I’m absolutely thrilled with this product, but the best part of this whole procedure was the professional and knowledgeable help that I received from the sale technician named Marissa, You Rock, ps, this the second hitch that had ordered, the first one from a different vendor, it was totally wrong, sending it back.
This is a great hitch and went in easily as I had experience putting in a similar one on a 2016 Prius. There was an unexpected glitch however. The bumper on my 2019 Prius Prime sticks out a couple extra inches from the end of the hitch receiver. My wonderful Thule bicycle carrier has a knob that tightens the hitch in the receiver. That knob pressed against the bumper about a 1/4" before the hitch was fully inserted. I fretted about it for a few days, but finally took a heat gun to the bumper to get it soft enough to make a small divot where the knob fits. The bike carrier now fits and the divot isn't very noticeable. If you have some hitch attachment that fits closer to the bumper, then this hitch receiver could be a problem for you. Measure the distance you need carefully. The hitch pin hole on my receiver is 4 1/2" in from the edge of my bumper.

High quality product, good instructions. For my 2004 Tacoma, I did need to use a mallet to bend the frame brackets into shape to fit the hitch receiver. Otherwise, no issues with the install. Two pairs of hands is recommended.
Had it for a year. Used mostly with a cargo carrier to bring deer back from the hunts. Have not used to tow stuff yet. No trouble so far.

shipping was fast. Item appears very well built and finished. Fit well and installed with a minimum of cursing and busted knuckles.
When received my box was slightly damaged and some of the receiver was poking out of the box. After I opened all was well. No damage to the receiver. It appears to be well made and coated. Installed easy enough. I am very happy with this purchase. I was debated between this one or one from one of the other major manufactures. I am glad I went with this unit.
East installation, feels like a very well constructed hitch. Just had to remove the bumper which was a pretty easy job. No issues putting the unit in place and bolting it up. Instructions were more than adequate. Installation was on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma.

I have had this hitch on now for a year and absolutely no complaints. I am only pulling small trailers of course but it works like a champ. Tough to beat the price and it looks good and functions perfectly.
