Will Rear Door of 2017 Ram ProMaster 3500 Clear the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier

Question:
It looks like the swing pin assembly protrudes above the bumper. Will it interfere with the door opening on the Ram Promaster 350? I would of course remove the hitch lift that’s shown in the picture.

I'm not sure right off the bat if the base of the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 will interfere with the door on your 2017 Ram ProMaster 3500, but I was able to take a trip out to the warehouse and find that from the top of the receiver to the top of the plate that the post secures to was about 7-1/2" (see attached photo). As long as you have over 7-1/2" from the top of the inside of your hitch receiver to the bottom of your door then the door will clear that plate. It is worth noting though that your tire may prevent you from completely opening your door, depending on the size of your spare tire.
