Is the monitor on a 2019 Chevrolet 2500HD gas compatible with the furrion s camera or does the camera need its own monitor.

While we do have camera options that link up to the in-dash monitor on your 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD (see linked selection), these are for the 3rd brake light. The Furrion Vision S system uses it's own monitor so you'll need to get one of the following kits to add it to your towing rig: 4.3" Monitor - # FOS43TASF or 5" monitor - # FOS05TASF.
I recommend going with either the 5" monitor because the 4.3" option is only compatible with one camera. If you use the larger system, then you have the option of adding another 3 cameras. A very popular add-on for these systems is the Marker Light RV Side Cameras Kit # FCE48TASL and then another Vision S Camera # FCN48TASF.
