Question:
Hi, I have the 3041-P wiring that I used for my P2 brake controller for my 2019 4Runner. I'm tired of this thing getting in the way and I want to install the tow-pro elite. Can I use the same wiring for the new brake controller or do I have to get something else?

You actually can still use your # 3041-P wiring adapter to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR on your 2019 Toyota 4Runner! All you need to do is either use the Adapter # 331-TPH-017 or cut off the black connector from the adapter and then splice the included pigtail from the Tow-Pro Elite to the adapter color for color using butt connectors # DW05744-5.
I recommend using the wiring adapter to make things easier. You can then use the Universal Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-001 to complete the installation and make the Redarc controller knob look like it was meant to be installed in your 4Runner.
