Question:
The owners manual says not to use snow chains but you can use spring chains if recommenced by device manufacturer. Do you have something like that?

We have exactly what you need! For your 2018 Subaru Outback with 225/60-18 tires, I recommend the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW1046. They use cables or "spring" style rollers that wrap around wire cross cables which provide the traction you need and are 100% safe to use on your Outback.
The Titan Chain Cable Show Tire Chains # TC2019 are also confirmed to fit your Subaru, but because they only offer a 30 day warranty, I recommend going with the Glacier mentioned earlier, which come with a 90 day warranty.
To keep your chains centered and maintain proper tension, you definitely want to use a pair of rubber adjusters like # PW105 as well.
Check out the review and photo submitted by our customer using these on their 2018 Outback.
