Question:
How many inches across is the center hole where the spindle goes through?
asked by: Brian
Expert Reply:
The pilot hole of the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-458-459 is 3-1/4". That said, you should not have to worry about this measurement so long as you have the same five bolt brake mounting flange as this is an industry standard pattern. If you instead have a four bolt brake mounting flange then most likely you will need the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-468-469. The other way to determine which is correct would be to find the axle capacity which can be done by locating the tag in the center. The former is for a 6,000 lb axle and the latter is for a 3,500 lb axle. If you have a different axle capacity please let me know what that is and I would be glad to confirm the correct Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit for you if available.
