Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness for 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Greetings. I have in hand now a new 2020 Jeep Wrangler and wanting to suit it up for towing. Need the hitch and 4 way wiring. Please help with the best - thank you!

Starting with the trailer hitch I highly recommend the etrailer.com Class III # e98856 for your 2020 Jeep Wrangler (congrats on the new Jeep, by the way). This Class III hitch is designed specifically for your Jeep Wrangler in more ways than one. It's going to line right up to existing holes in the frame for a simple bolt-on (no-drill) installation and it features an extra long 9" receiver tube that helps with mounting accessories or ball mounts with that rear spare tire on your Wrangler (see attached image).

The hitch itself features a 3,500 pound towing weight capacity and I really like the matte black finish that gives it a rugged appearance and makes it less prone to scratches. I have attached an installation video that you can check out as well.

Then for the wiring harness the Tekonsha T-One # 118786 will work perfectly. This custom harness will plug into factory ports behind the tail lights to provide you with a 4-Way connector to power the trailer's basic signal lights. It has the highest amp rating available for your Jeep and the converter boxes Tekonsha uses for their kits have a great reputation for lasting a long, long time.
