How to Trim Bumper Fascia When Installing etrailer.com Trailer Hitch on 2019 Honda CR-V

Hey there. So the etrailer.com hitch e98848 for my 19 CR-V. just wondering about the fascia trimming process. How much needs to be cut? How should i got about doing it? Thanks!

The etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 does require some fascia to be trimmed during installation (it's what allows for the hitch's sleek hidden design) and I can absolutely help you with this process.
I have attached an image from the install manual below that shows exactly how much needs to be cut. As for actually cutting it, there are various possible methods, but you can use a rotary tool if you have one around or even a simple pair of snips. The material isn't overly thick and it won't take too much effort to trim.
I have attached an installation video that you can also use for reference. The fascia trimming starts at around the 3:55 mark.
