I recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 76227 . This hitch has a 2" receiver that won't interfere with the backup sensors on your bumper. This hitch has a 600-lb TW / 4000-lb towing capacity to maximize the towing capabilities of your 2019 Subaru Outback wagon. I really like that this hitch has the concealed cross-tube design so that it has a virtually invisible footprint on your vehicle- very similar to the EcoHitch, but at a much better price point.
You're going to have to remove the bumper and do some trimming of the fascia to fit this hitch on, but there is no drilling into the frame required-as it is with most of the visible cross-tube hitches for this vehicle.
If you're going to be doing any towing with your Subaru, you'll need a wiring harness for lights like the Tekonsha # 118467 , which is an easily installed wiring harness that plugs in behind the lights on your vehicle. You can finish off your towing setup with a hitch ball and ball mount, which are included in the Ball Mount Kit # 989891 . All of these items are going to allow you to tow a trailer under 4000-lbs with your new Subaru Outback wagon.
