Will the Solera Awning Cradle Support Work With Any Awning

Question:

i have a newmar rv 2004 It has a auto matic awing I had put on it . They did not put a middle brace on it . Hoping this would work. What are the backers you are talking about? Do they come with it?

The Solera Awning Cradle Support part # LC289374 will work with any awning so fit should not be a concern as it is a very universal design. In regards to installation, the note about having backers simply means to be aware of the surface you are attaching the support to. The support will not really be bearing too much of a load but you will still want to make sure it is attached to a secure surface. That said, you won't need to contact the manufacturer to find where the backing is or anything to that nature just use your best judgment on how it is attached.

Please note, the support does not come with hardware but some 1-2" wood screws should do the trick.
