Mounting Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchors on Wood Floor Trailer

Question:
So, the safe work load is 2000lbs by just sandwiching the 2x6 like in the video? Just ordered 8 for my brand new trailer and want to clarify before punching holes in new 2x6’s.

You are correct. You will want to use the backing plate to sandwich the boards and provide the most secure connection when installing the Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchors # RR6K-4 . You can mount these in a recessed hole created by a router or punch all the way through the board using a hole saw.
