Hey Gary, thanks for reaching out. I see you already got a few of the Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchors # RR6K-4 on order but I wanted to make sure your question was still answered. The recessed portion of the anchor is 4-3/8" in diameter so a 4-3/8" or even 4-1/2" hole is what you would want.

You need 4 1/2 in to make it flush with floor

Hey Gary, how did the 4-3/8 inch hole size work out for your Brophy swiveling D-rings? It’d be great to hear how the fit turned out once everything was in place. Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same anchors.
