Does the Texas Hitch Cover # AMGSTTXC Attach Using the Wire Clip

The last hitch cover I bought from you had a small wire clip that secured the hitch cover to the hitch pin. When I went thru a car wash it was pulled off. So. my question is does AMGSTTXC install with these clips too?

The State of Texas Hitch Cover you mentioned, part # AMGSTTXC would be secured in the receiver using a standard hitch pin and retaining clip like # PC3 or a locking hitch pin like # e98882. Although some of the hitch covers we offer use the wire arrangement you describe, this particular cover uses a piece of square tubing attached to the rear of the cover as shown in the photo I provided.
Because hitch covers are frequently stolen, I would recommend going with the locking model.
