Today we're going to be take a look at part number AMGSTTXC. This is the state of Texas chrome emblem for 2-inch hitches. The hitch covers are going to allow you to represent whatever it is that you're passionate about. They also add a nice clean finished look to your hitch, and they help keep out dirt and grim, which is going to help prevent rust and corrosion to the hitch. This particular cover is going to be made from a full metal construction. You can see there that this piece is going to be welded on in the corners to the back of that front face plate. Nice, solid design.
It's going to have that black powder coat finish, it's going to do a really good job at resisting rust and corrosion, and lasting a long time. Here at the front, we're going to have the chrome plated metal emblem. It's going to have a rust-proof and fade-proof design. On the back side, it's going to come with a foam gasket, this is going to help prevent rattling and reduce noise as you travel down the road. The hitch cover is an officially licensed product. It does require a hitch pin-and-clip or a hitch lock to get it secured into your hitch.
Those items are sold separately. You can find those here on our website if you don't already have one. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. Starting with the overall width, it's going to measure about 5-inches. The height is going to be about 3.5-inches. Again, this is designed for 2-inch by 2-inch hitches.
The measurement that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole is going to measure around 2.5-inches. Simple installation. This piece right here is going to be the piece that slides into your hitch. You're going to push it into your hitch until you get your pinholes to line up, that's when you're going to secure it with the hitch pin-and-clip or a hitch pin-and-lock. Once you have that installed, this is going to be completely secured to your hitch. You're ready to head on down the road with it installed in your 2-inch hitch.
