How To Snap Rings Of Buyers Products Super Tracks Into Place

Question:
I dont know what I am doing wrong, but these locking rings, just dont seem to stay locked in place. I did not receive any directions with my order, and when looking on your website, I found that they are not available from the manufacturer. I would like to return them and purchase something else, but it is too late for that, as I have removed the interior wall from my trailer to install these tracks. Too much work to take them out now. is there is a trick to locking these rings in place? Please let me know, as I dont feel that they are secure enough to protect my model train modules in transit..

I contacted buyers are there are not any installation instructions available at this time for the Buyers Products Super Track Kit part # 337ST93. I went to the warehouse and made sure the rings in our stock would snap into the track. Depress the gold cylinder of the ring while the silver piece is horizontal put the gold piece into the circular cut outs of the track. Then slid the whole thing down into the space that is between the circles that sort of look like tabs. Then turn the silver piece to the vertical position and the ring will snap into place. The ring will not snap into place if it is not in the correct position on the track. I have attached a photo of what I mean. I have also attached a video that shows how to put the rings in the track.
