Do I buy a 7/8 strip for a 5/8 channel?

To determine what the right size of vinyl insert is you need, it is best to measure your current insert as it is laid flat, as opposed to the channel, though it sounds like what you need is actually going to be a 3/4" insert, for which we have the following:

- Camco RV Vinyl Trim Insert - Black - 100' Long # CAM25272
- White - 100' Long # CAM25262
- Beige - 25' Long x 3/4" Wide # CAM25153 or 100' Long # CAM25252
- Colonial White - 100' Long # CAM25242
