Question:
I have a Smart Car that I load on a trailer that is about 15inch off the ground so unlike a higher pickup truck, I dont think that Id have a problem getting up only 15inch to the trailer and my Smart car only weighs 1800#. However, because my trailer bed is just a bit larger than my Smart Car, Id be forced to store possibly this ramp under the car on the trailer bed. This car sits rather low to the ground with just 5.75inch ground clearance and since this ramp has a bow in it, I need to know what the height of the ramp is as it sits on the ground. You might want to consider adding this measurement to your product description but please respond directly to me. If its less than 5.75, Ill proceed to check out ASAP.

I have a solution for you, but the CargoSmart Arched Loading Ramps # 3483070 are going to be about 7" tall at their tallest point when laid flat on the ground. If you don't mind folding up the ramps and storing them in the rear cargo area of your Smart Car, I recommend going with the Arched Landing Ramp Set # 288-07432-2 , which fold up to a size of 45-3/4" long x 18" wide x 6" tall. You'll need to measure the area for yourself, but from what I was able to find from my research, these will fit into the back of your Smart Car.
If for some reason those wouldn't fit, since the height of your trailer may be an issue with most flat ramp sets, you need to go with a longer ramp with a higher capacity like the Gen-Y # 325-GH-R84 , which is a 6000-lb capacity ramp set. These ramps can be used to get into a trailer over 16" tall by your Smart Car.
One option that you maybe haven't considered that would be a good solution, and would allow you to use any ramp you want is the Pack'Em Rack # PK-6-OP1 . This is what a lot of landscapers use to hold equipment on their trailers that can't be put on the trailer bed and would work to hold the weight of your ramps without worrying about having to slide them under your vehicle.
