Does RoadActive Suspension Kit for 2016 Ford F-150 Affect Unloaded Ride Height

Question:
I have a 2016 f150 4wd with the eco boost. I’m looking to reduce sway and sponginess while pulling my 7,000lb travel trailer. I’m leaning towards this kit so my unloaded ride quality won’t be negatively affected. My question is, once the kit is installed will I notice a big difference in the ride height of my truck when I’m not hooked to the trailer?

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y that fits your 2016 Ford F-150 will lift your truck about 1/2" to 3/4" so it will not be a large difference or one that you are going to notice making any changes to your unloaded ride quality.
The RAS will only help your '16 F-150 by reducing the sway and "sponginess" you mentioned when you are towing your trailer. The reason for this is the RAS is an active system which works to continually reinforce your truck's original leaf spring suspension. The force normally put on your F-150's leaf springs gets transferred to the RAS Enhancement Kit, allowing your leaf springs to work normally.
I like this system because it does not take the amount of continual effort to inflate and monitoring air pressure like with Air Bags # AL59570 and because it will give you a softer ride than you might experience with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFR1504E, which is a harsh rubber that can be very uncomfortable when the system engages.
I have added links to a couple video reviews of the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y for you to check out.
