I have a solution for you, but because the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Hitch is not height adjustable, it likely won't work for your application. Depending on the size of your 5th Wheel trailer, I recommend switching to the Demco Recon Gooseneck to 5th Wheel # DM8550046 which has adjustable height settings of 11-1/2, 12-3/4 and 14" above the base of the hitch.
With the Demco Recon, you get a heavy-duty fifth-wheel trailer hitch that mounts in your truck bed by connecting directly to your gooseneck hitch ball with the included components. No modifications are required to your truck or trailer. And no additional parts are required for the system to work. The Demco has a 21,000-lb capacity and offers a single jaw with 360 degree jaw to pin contact for a secure connection.
If your 5th Wheel weighs more than 21,000-lbs just let me know and I can make a different recommendation.
