How To Install A Gooseneck Trailer Hitch On a 1997 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis

Question:

I have a 1997 f350 cab chassis. Will the Womack 12 ft 8 in bed. From center of rear axle to the farthest point on the back of the bed is 72 in. is it possible to put a flush mount gooseneck hitch on this truck.

I do have an option for you but there are not any custom fit gooseneck trailer hitches for your 1997 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis. In order to install a gooseneck trailer hitch you would need to have a fabricator install a set of braces that span the width of the frame under the bed and you could then weld the Buyers Products 2-5/16" Fabricators Flatbed Gooseneck Hitch part # 3375613500 to these braces.
